A custom-made denim jacket created through a special collaboration with painter and picture book artist Ayako Ishiguro. On the collar, pockets, hem, and back, the “White Tiger,” clad in stripe patterns like white flames, is expressed through bold embroidered switching, bringing Ishiguro’s powerful design to life three-dimensionally on the denim fabric. The deep texture woven from carefully selected high-quality denim and elaborate embroidery gives off the presence of wearing art just by putting it on. The fusion of the traditional divine-beast motif and contemporary denim forms a one-of-a-kind “wearable art” that is uniquely KARAKU.
